Reflection
In the beginning of the course, i did know what to do. Now, professional class is almost finished.First, i have to thank you to my lecturer and shop owner, David and Johnny. They very patiently taught me a lot of knowledge in this subject. In the learning process, Don't know a lot of things and what should i do on this subject. But now I had known about a lot business knowledge in New Zealand. Before i won't research these things, maybe it's just waste my time. Because of this subject forced me have to find the information. In this research and understand the process, i am interested in the business. So my partner and i started surveying the workshop at Mt.Albert around 3 weeks, but no one is willing to let us learn at their workshop. Finally, QQ-workshop owner let us study with him. Although we found learning workshop, distance was our next problem. So we went to the workshop gradually reduced. Most of the time we study on the website do the research. If i got any question, i will booking the time with David. This is what i learn in this subject. This subject almost finish, but i will continue my research, maybe someday i start my business at New Zealand in the future

I went to the Repco Auto Parts and Super Cheap Auto do the survey and how long times can reach there. When i back from those locations , i start my research for my individual project. First, i have to research about accounting, Waste management,Government and Advertisement.

Advertisement 

Definition: Advertising is a means of communication with the users of a product or service. Advertisements are messages paid for by those who send them and are intended to inform or influence people who receive them, as defined by the Advertising Association of the UK. 

Description: Advertising is always present, though people may not be aware of it. In today's world, advertising uses every possible media to get its message through. It does this via television, print (newspapers, magazines, journals etc), radio, press, internet, direct selling, hoardings, mailers, contests, sponsorships, posters, clothes, events, colours, sounds, visuals and even people (endorsements). 

The advertising industry is made of companies that advertise, agencies that create the advertisements, media that carries the ads, and a host of people like copy editors, visualizers, brand managers, researchers, creative heads and designers who take it the last mile to the customer or receiver. A company that needs to advertise itself and/or its products hires an advertising agency. The company briefs the agency on the brand, its imagery, the ideals and values behind it, the target segments and so on. The agencies convert the ideas and concepts to create the visuals, text, layouts and themes to communicate with the user. After approval from the client, the ads go on air, as per the bookings done by the agency's media buying unit.

i had done my business plan, researching financial help and how we start an own business in New Zealand. i have to research what the qualifications for loan business. This is what i get from the website.

After that day, I research some information on the website . Finally i get some information about how to business in New Zealand.

Writing a business plan

There are lots of people who can help you get started in business. But first they’ll want to see a business plan. Here’s some of the information you’ll need to include:

• Personal details
• Your name, address and other personal details.
• The skills and experience you have to run the business.

Information about the business

• Business name, products and services.
• What the business is about and how it will operate.
• Whether it is a sole trader, partnership or limited liability company.
• Where the business will be located and why.
• Equipment and licences you’ll need – and regulations affecting you.
• Details of people who’ll help you (eg lawyer /accountant).
• Your back-up plan if something goes wrong.

Business and marketing goals

• Local councils are a good place to get advice and find out about training courses. Most city councils have Small Business Development Units to help small businesses. You’ll find them in your phone book.
• Enterprise agencies can help with business, legal and financial advice. Ask your Case Manager how to get in touch with them.
• Te Puni Kökiri has a business advice and mentoring service for Mäori people in business. Your local iwi authority may also be able to help.
• Local libraries have lots of business books – ask your librarian to help you find suitable books.

I made an appointment with David today. I went to the office and found him. David had bring me went to the classroom and i followed behind him. First, He asked me how to open a shop in Auckland. I had no idea and no depth understanding of these. But he still taught me patience. This is what he taught me.

Today's provide assignment day to lecturer, David. When we provided our rework assignment, he asked us how many marks we can get it. My partner said around 20 marks, but i answered maybe can get around 17marks. David told us our assignment already improve better than last months. He gave us 27marks for our assignment. Finished the class, David asked me booking with him a date for teaching how to write a good assignment in the future. David gave me his phone for making an appointment.

On this holiday, I had tried my best to complete my rework job. But i still had no idea then i drove my housemate's car and went to QQ-shop discussed with the shop owner. He taught me how managed a workshop. I felt lucky can learn from him.

24/04/2015 Week 8

Today is discussion day but i still no idea and don't know what can i discuss with them. Because my English language not so good, i scare will laugh from them. In discussion, i really hard to understand what they talking about. Suddenly David said had somebody still haven't discuss together, that time i feel more afraid. But i still try my best to discuss with them. Suddenly i can heard what they discuss, i also starting discuss with them. Discussion finished, i think this discussion increase my knowledge and feel so good. Finished this class, i starting and enjoy this 2 week holiday.

17/4/2015 week 7

Today is passing assignment day, finally we completed our group assignment and pass our assignment to our lecturer, David. He said we have do appointment with him to discuss our project.   But i had no idea, it because my group mate, Kelvin Wan haven't reach the class. so i can't discuss with him. After that, Kelvin Wan help me made the appointment with David next Tuesday 1pm. Thank you very much to my Group mate.Kelvin Wan help me made appointment. Thank a lot. David told us had a discussion on next Friday and find some information to that day.

11/4/2015 week 6

i met kelvin after finished my class and went to library do a research together, finally we had found a workshop, QQ shop. QQ shop not so far than Unitec and it easy to us learn and study at there. After researched, we started keep our thing and directly went QQ shop. Reached QQ shop, we direct met the shop owner and discuss with him about we need his workshop for our project. Finally he accepted and welcome us learn with him.We start asked some question and take some photo for our project then going back.Thanks to QQ shop owner give a chance to us learning at here. After reached my house, we started discuss and allocated assignment part. i have to complete work planning, allocation of working, bill and return work procedure and Kelvin have to complete introduction, health, safety, waste management, customer service , legislation and conclusion.

2/4/2015 week 5

Today i completed my research, my group mate and found a lot of workshop but they rejected. After discuss with Tony, finally we had a chance to learn and study at his workshop. My group mate and i maybe will going his workshop in this Saturday. After discussed, i think Tony workshop not suitable for our project. the reason was too far and i didn't had transport go there so we had research other workshop but we don't have a lot of time to do a research anymore. Because my group mate busy on his industry and i had Technology Project and Engine Test in next week. So we had no more time to do the research. We went to Unitec library and discuss with my group mate about Professional  Practice. Since tomorrow's Easter day, a lot the workshop off day. So maybe I'll choose end of Easter day just go.

27/3/2015 week 4

After finished my class Technology Project, Kelvin and i went to that 2 position introduced from my senior. We reached Tony's Panel around afternoon 1pm, his staff told us the shop owner not at workshop today. so we had made a appointment and discuss with the shop owner before we learn and study at their workshop. After visited Tony's Panel, we went to next workshop, Pit Stop. Reached there, we asked the staff to take the permission learn and study related business facility in this shop. But we rejected by them, the reason was a lot of personal thing not available for learn.

20/3/2015 week 3

 Last week i finished my technology project class and went to 146 class found my teammate and discuss. He told me his friend haven't give him a answer, he had no idea. Today i talked about this question with my senior, he helped me found around position easy to us. Finally i get the 2 position to us do our project. Tomorrow i will go there with my teammate and survey which most better and suitable to us.

13/3/2015 week 2

Finally i had a partner, his name called Kelvin Wan. He is a friendly guy. I'm felt lucky he became my partner. Now the problem is his living house far than Unitec and me no transport to go anywhere to complete our group work, so we had discuss about which location easy to us complete our group work. After discussing, maybe we will survey around St.lukes, because i earlier go there by a bus and he can direct drive go over there. We will meet at there. This is our discussion. It's not confirm yet. Maybe the planing will be changed.

6/3/2015 Week 1

After technology project finished, i went to class 146 continue my Automotive Professional Practice class. Suddenly i felt my stomach not so well and went to toilet. When i inside the class, i saw our lecturer completed distribution the team to us, a group maximum 2 person only,  but that day our class just had 5 people. So i had wait until next week with other guy be my group partner. I felt happy and curious who will be my teammate. I'm still confused until now what i will study and learning in this course. I hope i can handle it. But i felt lucky i had a kind of lecturer. He still can talk a joke with us. Seem as a friend, I can felt he was a nice and good lecturer.
